Rising Diesel Prices in the Midwest
Over the past several weeks, diesel prices in the Midwest have increased significantly due to tightening fuel supply and volatility in global crude markets. Our fuel supplier has advised that wholesale diesel prices have risen rapidly and that local diesel costs have skyrocketed with supplies extremely tight, which has led to higher delivered fuel pricing for carriers like CR Express.
In addition, ongoing geopolitical uncertainty and fluctuations in crude oil markets are continuing to put upward pressure on diesel pricing, with no clear indication of when relief will occur.
What This Means for Our Customers
As a result of these market conditions, CR Express will be implementing an increase to our fuel surcharge effective immediately in order to offset the rising cost of operating our fleet.

- We will continue monitoring DOE fuel indices and local market pricing closely.
